IMPORTANCE OF VISIONS AND DREAMS

Then the Lord answered me and said, write the vision and make it plain on tablets, that he may run who reads it – Habakkuk 2 : 2.

Most of the times we place no importance in our dreams or vision. God can speak through dreams and vision, He can reveal the secret about your life to you through dreams or vision because of His grace and love for us. Since the beginning of this year, how many dreams or vision have you written down? Do you even have a dream book at all? Brethren, it is very important for everybody to have a dream book where you can record all your dreams, visions and dates so that you can always remember to pray over them at any time.

It was through dream that God instructed Abram to leave his father’s house so that He can bless him. It was through dream that God reveal to Jacob about his open heaven. It was through God revealed to Abimelech that Sarah was a wife to a prophet – Abraham. It was through dream that God asked  Solomon what he wanted. It was through dream that God reveal to Joseph about his future. God has spoken to many of His prophets in the bible through dreams and to many people today. But the most important thing is to write down your dream as He instructed Habakkuk so that you can remember to pray about them for the manifestation. Not that God will forget but it is good if you can keep remember Him of what He has reveal to you why you are waiting for it to manifest. But if it is not written down after some time, you can forget.

For example after Joseph’s dream how long does it take to manifest. Our mind is full of many new things everyday that will make us to forget some of our dreams no matter how strong or intelligence we might think we are because there is a time which our mind can remember some things if it is not written down.

O Lord, You are worthy to be praise. I thank You for speaking to us every time through our dreams and vision. Father, help us to always remember those promises in our dreams, vision and in Your word to us. Help us to place importance in them because it is a divine message from You so that at the end Your name will be glorified in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.
