Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and open the door, I will come in to him and dine with him and he with Me – Revelation 3 : 20.

Jesus Christ is coming at your door everyday and telling you that He has something for you. Open the door for Him so that He can dine with you and you with Him. He gave us the right to choose between life and death because He want to see if we trust Him for any solution. He come to share your problem with you.

What is it that you have been praying for or that you have been hoping for that seems not have solution? Are you indebted? Are you a drug addict? Are you a liar? Are you a fornicator? Do you have any sickness that defy medical therapy? Are you an idolator? Are you in need of finance? Are you being isolated? Are you a blasphemer? Are you a drunkard? Are you a womanizer? Are you looking for job? Do you need God’s visitation? Do you need wisdom? Do you have problem with your colleagues in the office? Do you have problem with schoolmate, course mate, teachers or lecturers? Do you have problem of accommodation? Whatever problem it is that you have no matter the level of the problem, God is at your door today to take that problem away from you, can you open the door of your heart for Him to enter and take that problem away from you?

Stop carrying that load that is too heavy for you. Take it to God in prayer because He is ready to free you from such load. Don’t feel that you have the strength to solve the problem without Him. How many people have lost their lives because of the word crisis? They lost their lives because they place their lives on worldly things, wealth and riches. They feel they can solve the problems by themselves but at the end it was not possible. May their soul rest in peace.  Brethren, the things we see with the physical eyes is just for a moment. We should start laying our treasures in heaven where no molt can destroy instead of placing more importance in worldly things. We came naked and in nakedness we will depart from this world.

Now they came to Jericho. As He went out of Jericho with His disciples and a great multitude, blind Bartimaeus, the son of maeus, sat by the road begging. And when he heard that it was Jesus of Nazareth, he began to cry out and say, Jesus, Son of David have mercy on me. Then many warned him to be quiet, but he cried out all the more, Son of David, have mercy on me. So Jesus stood still and commanded him to be called. Then they called the blind man, saying to him, be of good cheer, rise, He is calling you. And throwing aside his garment, he rose and came to Jesus. So Jesus answered and said to him, what do you want Me to do for you? The blind man said to Him, Rabboni, that I receive my sight. Then Jesus said to him, go your way, your faith has made you well. And immediately he received his sight and followed Jesus on the road – Mark 10 : 46 – 52.

We should not be conform with our problems as Bartimaeus was not conform with his problem even as many told him to keep quiet but he shouted the more. No matter what you might have been told by a doctor, do not loose hope because your life is not in the hand of man but it is in the hand of God who have the sole right to heal no matter the seriousness of the sickness.

At times we go to church with problems and instead of us to pray and call on God to have mercy on us, we will keep quiet because we are ashamed of the brother or sister that is next to us but remember that you are not praying to that brother or sister but to God of mercy who do not want you to go back home with that problem.

Father, Lord of mercy, whose mercy surpasses every judgement. Help us to have that confidence in You so as to always bring every problem that is confronting us to You. Help us not to be conformed  with our problems as Bartimaeus was not conform with his problem no matter how they force him to be quiet but he refuse to be quiet. Give us that same courage not be quiet to bring our problems to You so that at the end, the glory and honor will be given to You in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.
