Just a year yesterday

Yesterday make it a year that one of junior brothers passed on. Brother, I can’t believe that you are no more. When I call you phone number, I can’t hear your voice again and when I ask about you, the reply I hear are words of consolation which means that really you are no more. You know the plans we had but we could not fulfill it. You can only see me but I cannot see. I missed you!

We your siblings, mother, friends and family members you left behind always remember you. There is no seconds, minutes, hours, days that we don’t always remember you. I always remember the last discussion we had the very last time we met physically and the picture we took together. You know how much we love and care about you.

Tears cannot bring you back brother, but there is one thing that always give us joy, which was before your departure, you gave your life to Christ without any kind of pressure from anyone. With this we know and believe that you are with the Lord because the word of God can never and will never lie. One day, we will meet again.

We love you but the Lord loves you most. Continue to enjoy your presence with the Lord until we meet to part no more.

Father, I thank You for the opportunity You gave to Your son to know You and accept You. I appreciate You for all that You have done in his life. Give us that he left behind the grace to overcome this pain because we cannot do it by our own power. Thank You Lord in the name of Jesus Christ.
