Isn’t it amazing how sometimes we read the Bible and we say to ourselves, this is what we are living through today. David could be right here present, today, as he speaks of lies, flattering lips, boastful tongues, and deception. We realize how much this upsets him as he speaks to the extreme of saying that no one is faithful anymore and those who are loyal has banished from the human race. We know this cannot be true because God always has a remnant, even in times like these.

But surely, things are so bad that David cries out for help…
