No temptation has overtaken you except such as common to man, but God is faithful who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation, will also make the way of escape that you may be able to bear it – 1 Corinthians 10 : 13.
This flower was passing through trials in life. Most times, we feel that it is only humans that pass through difficulties, all what God has created always pass through one trials or the other.
This flower was suffering. The owner forgot to give water to the plant and in the course of this, the red color appeared which made the flower become more beautiful.
When things were alright with the plant, no one knows that it has such a beautiful color in the inside of it but trials force it to bring out what God has placed in it.
This plant is like us human beings, when things are alright with us, we seem to forget that the Creator Himself was our designer who has so designed us with many beautiful things in the inside of us to the extent that no trials can overcome us if we stand firm. He never made any mistake in all that He has created.
Any trials you are facing, stop complaining and ask Him to give you the grace to pass through it. Without trials, there is no elevation. Because of His love for us, He cannot allow us to be tried or tested more than our strength can bear. Don’t take your eyes away from Him.
Many times we pray that God should take every problem away from us but God want to see the beauty which He has placed in us to come out but we try to shy away from the trials because we feel it is for our destruction. We begin to say, Oh God why me! This world is full of temptations although some are more serious than others but remember that the Lord is with you and keep telling you to push on my son, push on my daughter you can overcome it.
These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulations, but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world – John 16 : 33.
Any trial that come our way no matter how great or small it might be, is always new to us but not to God, therefore, He has equipped us with all that we need to overcome it. Be encouraged and face that circumstances that you have in your life because you are an over-comer in Christ Jesus.
Prayer: Father, I thank You for every trials that You allow to come my way despite the fact that it is new to me but it is not new to You. Give me the grace to always remember that You created me in Your own image therefore you have equipped me with all that I need to face any trials that come my way and come out victorious in the name of Jesus Christ.
Great reminder. I’ve started seeking God’s purpose for my trials more these days. I know He has a purpose- for me, or even for another’s benefit. Sometimes He grants me insight, others I’m left to question. Either way. I trust He has my best interest at heart. TY for your encouragement.

Thank you my friend. You are very right. When trials come, we should hold on to God no matter how serious it might be because although it is always new to us but it is not new to Him and His purpose will be done. I appreciate!!!

My most favorite Christian hymn, “It is well with my soul” was written by a man who was grieving the death of his wife and children. They had died when the ship they were on was overcome by a storm. When the man sailed out to the spot where his family was taken from him, he wrote this song. The courage and faith of this man is inspiring to me and the words he gifted all of us who struggle move me each time I hear or sing this song. Great post Henry, Thank you for your hard work and diligence for our Savior.
