Stop doubting the voice of the Holy Spirit

Most times when God speak to us, we try to focus our attention on the things we see physically which make the manifestation of God’s blessing very difficult to manifest.

On 7th of September last year, I was looking for some fruits in a nearby house of a friend and as I want to collect the fruits, my wedding ring fell off  my finger and I only heard the noise as it fell and hit a stone inside the pit that was covered by the weed of the fruit. To God be the glory for the understanding He has given to my wife. When I told her the story, she felt it but not with doubt not because she knew whom I am but rather due to God’s grace upon our lives because such issue can cause a great misunderstanding between some families.

 

As usual, I presented the case before our Heavenly Father who do not judge as man judge. Because some people might say it was carelessness on my part which I might not agree to or I might agree to because, everybody have the right to say whatever pleases him. After presenting the case to Him that have the key of our lives in His hand, the Holy Spirit instructed me to go and look for it that I will find it which I oblige to. When I got there, seeing to the height of the weed, I felt it will be impossible for me to find it and I left.

I went to a  jewelry store to find out the current price but still, the Holy Spirit keep on telling me to go and look for it. I now decided to go by night with a big touch light which we have at home but to no avail. Buying another one was not the issue but the originality of the lost one was what matters to me.

Between the 26th night to 27th of the same month, the pressure of the Holy Spirit was so much on me that I could resist it no more. The following day which was 27th in the afternoon, I dressed up with thick dress and took a cutting instrument and I went to the place. I was able to find my way inside the pit. I am 1.67 meters tall and the pit was up to 2 meters dip.

You cannot believe it that when I got inside, I took a stick and just turn the first place and turning the second place, I found my ring. Brethren, God cannot lie.

No matter the circumstances surrounding us, we should not allow it to deprive us from following the voice of the Holy Spirit because our God is an awesome God who sees the situation more than the way we see it. Doubt is what make us at times not to receive from God.

Prayer: Father, I appreciate all that You have been doing in my life even though I always doubt You but You keep on being faithful to Your promises. Help me not to always focus on the circumstances surrounding any of Your blessing and favor to me in the name of Jesus Christ.
