Disappointments are just God's way of saying

Most times, when we receive disappointment in some area of our life we feel so frustrated about life and begin to ask such questions like, why has my God forsaken me? Why must I be passing through such stress in life? Why has God forgotten me? Which area of my life have I not be obeying God’s instructions? Have I not be paying my tithe to You God? Have I not be giving gift as You instructed? Have I not be giving my offerings to You? And at times we might even decide not to go to church for sometime or it might even lead to abandoning church completely. It’s like we serve God because of what He will give to us and such mentality, is a very wrong mentality. We have to appreciate Him and always love Him for Whom He is not for our selfish interest. Moreover, He said, we should seek first the kingdom of God and all the rest things will be added unto us without asking for them. The problem is that we attach great importance to our problems instead of attaching importance on our service to Him. We think that He is not seeing or knowing what our needs are. Brethren, let’s serve, worship, appreciate and love Him for what He represents in our life – our first love. Remember, that He is the owner of gold and silver.

If you have been praying for some things and disappointment is what you get, never mind because He knows what your needs really are and He will give you what will not harm you. His grace that is upon our life is enough that will make Him to give to us even what we don’t know that we need because He knows the end from the beginning. Increase your faith and be patient.
