Arise, cry out in the night, at the beginning of the watches. Pour out your heart like water before the face of the Lord. Lift your hands toward Him for the life of your young children, who faint from hunger at the head of every street – Lamentations 2 : 19.

Someone else is praying for the things you take for granted,

We fellowship with our children, we pray together with our children, we go to church with them, that is good. But how many nights do we arise a year to pray for them only as they sleep? We need to leave sleep at times and go to them as they sleep, kneel down at the side of their bed and pour out your heart to God who is expecting to hear your voice at that hour of the night.

Lord, You are a Father who always want to hear the cry of Your children. Give us the grace to always rise and commit the lives of our children into Your hand. Help us to bring them up in Your own fear which is the beginning of wisdom in the name of Jesus Christ.
