Hope With Open Door

The Lord is my rock and my fortress and my deliverer. The God of my strength in whom I will trust – 2 Samuel 22 : 2 – 3.

It is tempting to rely on our own abilities.  Without Him, our effort is nothing no matter the level we are. Our hope should be on Him and Him alone. If we think we are intelligence, what do we think about He who is the giver.

We can place our hopes in our church or bible study group, our abilities or willingness to serve, but unless our hope is rooted and grounded in God alone, we will be defeated – Sheila Walsh.
