Then the Lord God called to Adam and said to him, where are you? So he said, I heard Your voice in the garden and I was afraid because I was naked and I hid myself. And He said, who told you that you were naked? Have you eaten from the tree of which I commanded you that you should not eat? Then the man said, the woman whom you gave to be with me, she gave me of the tree and I ate – Genesis 3 : 9 – 12.

Sins will always bring nakedness, shame and disgrace. God did not commit any crime by giving Adam a wife. The same Adam called the woman bone of my bone and flesh of my flesh. When it comes to the time of taking responsibility for his action, he now lay the blame on the woman and the woman too passed the responsibility to the serpent. Most times, we pray God to bless us without taking responsibilities to be obedient to His instructions. We forget that blessing have two faces, responsibility and obedience which needs to join together so as to give blessing. Only one cannot bring the desired result.

Whether the responsibility is favorable or not, I believe it is better for one to always take responsibility for his actions or deeds.

Everlasting Father, thank You for Your love and grace. Please, help us to always take responsibility for our actions no matter whether it is negative or positive in the name of Jesus Christ.
