PRINCIPLES FOR PRAYERS TO BE ANSWERED.

ACCEPTANCE THAT YOU ARE A SINNER:

For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God – Romans 3 : 23.

CONFESSION OF YOUR SINS:

One who turns away his ear from hearing the law, even his prayer is an abomination – Proverbs 28 : 9.

He who covers his sins will not prosper, but whoever confesses and forsake them will have mercy – Proverbs 28 : 13.

Confess your trespasses to one another and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The effective fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much – James 5 : 16.

If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness – 1 John 1 : 9.

REPENTANCE:

If My people who are called by My name will humble themselves and pray and seek My face and turn from their ways, then I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and heal their land – 2 Chronicles 7 : 14.

Repent therefore and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, so that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord – Acts 3 : 19.

I tell you, no but unless you repent you will all likewise perish – Luke 13 : 3.

LOVE:

A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another, as I have loved you, that you also love one another – John 13 : 34.

FORGIVENESS:

For if you forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you – Matthew 6 : 14.

GIVING:

Do not withhold good from those to whom it is due, when it is in the power of your hand to do so – Proverbs 3 : 27.

He who gives to the poor will not lack, but he who hides his eyes will have many curses – Proverbs 28 : 27.

OBEDIENCE:

If they obey and serve Him, they shall spend their days in prosperity and their years in pleasure – Job 36 : 11.

Bring all the tithes into the storehouse that there may be food in My house and try Me now in this, says the Lord of Hosts, if I will not open for you the windows of heaven and pour out for you such blessing that there will not be room enough to receive it – Malachi 3 : 10.

So let each one give as he purposes in his heart, not grudgingly or of necessity, for God loves a cheerful giver – 2 Corinthians 9 : 7.

TRUST:

And those who know Your name will put their trust in You. For You, Lord, have not forsaken those who seek You – Psalm 9 : 10.

Some trust in chariots and some in horses, but we will remember the name of the Lord our God – Psalm 20 : 7.

ASK:

Ask and it will be given to you, seek and you will find, knock and it will opened to you – Matthew 7 : 7.

PRAISES:

Enter into His gates with thanksgiving and into His courts with praise – Psalm 100 : 4.

FASTING:

However, this kind does not go out except by prayer and fasting – Matthew 17 : 21.
