Anyone God brought into your life, is for a purpose so don’t underestimate the person so that his or her purpose of being in your life will be fulfilled. You might be looking at the person as a problem, the person is there for a purpose.
Judas Iscariot was one of Jesus disciples. He became one of the twelve so that what was written about Jesus will be fulfill. Judas was there for the purpose of betraying Jesus Christ.
Now as they sat and ate, Jesus said, assuredly, I say to you, one of you who eats with Me will betray Me. And they began to be sorrowful and to say to Him one by one, is it I? And another said, is it I? He answered and said to them, it is one of the twelve who dips with Me in the dish. The Son of Man indeed goes just as it is written of Him, but woe to that man by whom the Son of Man is betrayed. It would have been good for that man if he had never been born – Mark 14 : 18 – 21.
The scripture also said ”Even my own familiar friend in whom I trusted, who ate my bread, has lifted up his heel against Me” – Psalm 41 : 9.
The person might be your employee, servant or employer his purpose must be fulfill. ”Then she said to her mistress, if only my master were with the prophet who is in Samaria for he would heal him of his leprosy. And Elisha sent a messenger to him, saying, go and wash in the Jordan seven times and your flesh shall be restored to you and you shall be clean. But Naaman became furious and went away and said, indeed, i said to myself, he will surely come out to me and stand and call on the name of the Lord his God and wave his hand over the place and heal the leprosy” -2 Kings 5 : 3, 10 – 11.
And his servants came near and spoke to him and said, my father, if the prophet had told you to do something great, would you not have done it? How much more then, when he says to you, wash and be clean? So he went down and dipped seven times in the Jordan, according to the saying of the man of God and his flesh was restored like the flesh of a little child and he was clean – 2 Kings 5 13 – 14. If the servant has not come into Naaman’s life, he would not have received his healing.
You might come from a family whereby your siblings develop hatred for you because of your dream, your way of talking or for just no reason but because God brought you to that family for a purpose, that purpose will be fulfill if you do not pay evil for evil, but rather you let God be the center of your life. Always remember that you are not the one who choose to come from such family but God choose you to come and fulfill a purpose in that family.
Now Israel loved Joseph more than all his children, because he was the son of his old age. Also he made him a tunic of many colors – Genesis 37 : 3. So it came to pass, when Joseph had come to his brothers, that they stripped Joseph of his tunic, the tunic of many colors that was on him. Then they took him and cast him into a pit. And the pit was empty, there was no water in it – Genesis 37 : 23 – 24. What was Joseph’s ofence ? Because he had a dream and say it to his family .
Then Midianite traders passed by, so the brothers pulled Joseph up and lifted him out of the pit, and sold him to the Ishmaelites for twenty shekels of silver and they took Joseph to Egypt – Genesis 37 : 28. Hatred will always lead to a great crime and it can even lead to murder. Despite the hatred, God was with Joseph because our ways are not His ways.
‘‘The Lord was with Joseph and he was a successful man and he was in the house of his master the Egyptian. And his master saw that the Lord was with him and that the Lord made all he did to prosper in his hand” – Genesis 39 : 2 – 3. But his brothers refuse to see the presence of God in his life. As if the hatred of his brothers was not enough, his master’s wife lied against him and he was thrown into prison and in prison God was with him because when God is for us, no one can be against us. He became an interpreter of dreams inside the prison because God was preparing him for a great mission – ”Genesis 39 : 7 – 23; 40 : 1 – end.”
When the king had a dream and no one could interpret the dream, they have to call Joseph from the prison to come and interpret the dream. After the interpretation, the king now made him the Prime Minister which is against the law of man because as an ex-convict, there is no way he can become a prime minister and more so in a foreign land -” Genesis 41 : 1 – end.”
When the famine started, Joseph’s brothers have to come and buy food from Egypt where Joseph was a prime minister. Later Joseph revealed himself to them. ”And Joseph said to his brothers, please come near to me. So they came near. Then he said, I am Joseph your brother, whom you sold into Egypt. But now do not therefore be grieved or angry with yourselves because you sold me here, for God sent me before you to preserve life – Genesis 45 : 4 – 5‘‘. Now the purpose God brought him among his brothers was fulfilled.
Jesse sent David his son to go and give food to his three eldest brothers in the battle field and to bring back words to his father. As David was present, Goliath appeared and challenged the children of Israel to bring out a representative to come and challenge him which he has been doing for forty days morning and evening and no one could challenge him. David, a shepherd boy, came out and challenged him and killed him making the children of Israel free -” 1 Samuel 17 : 1 – end”. David went to go and see the welfare of his brothers in his mind but that was not the purpose of God. The purpose of God, was for David to go and set the children of Israel free which really came to pass.
You were born into your family to effect a change to some certain things or for your siblings to effect a change in your life. You have a business partner not only to make gain from the business, but rather to effect a change in his or her life. You are working in a company not only to receive salary but to effect a change in some areas of your employer’s life or for your employer to effect a change in your life. You are in a church to join your talent with others so that the body of Christ should be complete. I think anywhere we are, there is a purpose and that purpose should not be allowed to go down the drain without fulfilling it.
I am glad to have read this today in the New Year, sometimes we look for big goals and shinny things to achieve and we forget that our purpose could just be within our reach. Pursuing purpose should be the main thing in any year, in any season. Thank you for reminding me that.

This is true wisdom for those who wish to learn it.
I was directed here after searching for some guidance on how people are sent as blessings to us and I’m so very impressed by the explanation here.
Thank you so much for the lesson I’ve learned today.

Yes Scripture confirms Osaroboeghosahenry that all good things not bad come from God (see confirmation below ) and this includes those who come into our lives. We are the Body of Christ and need each other and often now in my life especially with Christian Blogging, He us encouraged and uplifted me during the hard times by those He has sent to pray and support us but He does not send those who hurt us or cause us to grieve but we do live in a fallen world that Satan controls, so it is he who afflicts and Temps us and sends those who are in bondage to his will to hurt us, or we reap the evil we sow before True Heart repentance and we remember Chance also happens good and bad but God does not plan evil for us and is with us when it happens, below is the Scripture He gave me during a heartbreaking Storm in my life and I still Hold it close to my Heart and remember it always.
Lamentations 3: 33 For God doth not afflict willingly nor grieve the Children of Men.
Isaiah 43:1-3 – Do not be afraid, for I have ransomed you. I have called you by name; you are mine. When you go through deep waters and great trouble, I will be with you. When you go through rivers of difficulty, you will not drown! When you walk through the fire of oppression, you will not be burned up; the flames will not consume you. For I am the LORD, your God, the Holy One of Israel, your Saviour.”
Jeremiah 29 :11-12 For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the LORD, thoughts of Peace and not of evil, to give you a Future and a Hope.
One thing I also hold onto very strongly Osaroboeghosahenry and that is God works everything together for good in our lives, so if we have had a hard road to walk (see link below ) when we come to True Heart Repentance, He will use it all for good as He has often done in my life and no doubt will continue to do so.

Yes Jesus knew the hearts of His Disciples and also that before Pentecost and their New Birth they would sin and this included Peter’s Denial and Judas’ betrayal but it was not planned by God, He does not promote evil or willingly allow it even if He knows it will happen, God is Love and and can do no evil and Love always Hopes for the good of those they Love but He does not force us to Love and obey Him, He does not want Puppets, when we search for Him with all our Heart we will find Him, yes as Jesus tells us we Ask, Seek and Knock.

Amen. So real and true. Even the “problem” people in our lives are there for a reason. Its up to us to forgive and ask Jesus what He wants us to learn from this and what He wants us to do for the glory of His kingdom.
